Mcdonalds Grand Graduation 2012 World Trade Center

The Grand graduation was a blast. They prepared nice looking booths which sells cheap happy meal toys at 10 pesos each, cool sponsors that gave us freebies like free biscuits, free kiddie magazine and another company that gave away free sponge bob chocolate drink. They also arranged some fun activities that kids will enjoy-Activities such as face painting activity pesos, photo booth, bowling, and others. most of the booths are free of charge-You just need to line up and wait for your turn-the line is quite long-But definitely worth the wait. After 2 hours of enjoying the booth-they closed the lights as the mcdonalds concert is about to start. We were not able to finish the concert but We were able to watch Charise Pempengco and Team Askals ,and Jacky lou Blanco on stage. We really enjoyed the grand graduation party and we will definitely attend it again next year.

Daves fun house A Fun but expensive place to hang out

My daughter asked me to accompany her to Dave's fun house as part of my gift to her on her graduation day. The place is cute and has lots of fun stuff for kids but the hourly price is too high. The rate is for 180/hour and I was surprised that my 2 month old baby was included in the entrance fee. So, we paid 360/hour for my daughter and my 2 month old baby and 20 pesos each for my husband and me. We stayed for 1 1/2 hours giving as a total of 480 pesos. wow! I'm glad we went late that night so my daughter won't ask me to extend more hours.

Mcdo Special kiddie workshop for mother's day!

I received a call from Mcdonald's on mother's day. They asked me if my daughter can join the special one day workshop that will be conducted the following day- I immediately said yes to the invitation and I'm glad I did because my daughter enjoyed it very much. They played games, sing and dance, they ate their favorite mcdonald's chicken, they were also given some loot bags as giveaways and they were asked to do a personalized cute looking bag to give to their mothers. :)

Summer Bridge Program Kinder to Grade 1

My daughter attended The Summer bridge program which University of Perpetual recently conducted. Its a one month study program where in the students are required to attend a 4 hour class each day. The 27 students were divided into 2 sections for more quality education.Smaller classes gave students more one-on-one time with their teachers to help them excel while allowing teachers more time to do what they do best. The objective of the Summer Bridge Program is to prepare the students for the implementation of K+12 Program. The UPHSD Las Pinas Campus Basic Education Department conducted their Moving-Up Ceremony last May 22, 2012 at the University of perpetual Las College Campus Building wherein 27 students were able to complete the K1, K2 and Grade 1 Summer Bridge Program.

Jollibee Kids Club Summer Workshop

Jollibee kid's club is open to ages 12 years old and below. Those who want to join must present their Jollibee Kid's club identification card. However, those who are not yet members are welcome to join the club and pay the corresponding membership fee of P50. Club members are required to pay the Kid Scout joining fee of P500 which includes shirt, cap, name plate, workshop cost, meals and certificate??? The recent commercial of Jollibee which promotes their Jollibee Kid's Club membership attracted us to enrol my daughter in their 6 day summer workshop which is scheduled to start last April 16 and should end this April 21. Jollibee had a problem scheduling the workshop and cause delay. The workshop was not finished on time-It ended on April 25 instead of April 21. The store just told the parents that there is a conflict on the dates because of parties that will be held on the previous scheduled workshop dates. The staffs aren't organized and seems not very well trained to conduct the workshop- The materials used are not all free-Parents need to provide their own art materials like water color, pencils and glue- A minus one or Cd to play on their song presentation. The fast food Crew aren't very friendly-They are camera shy and always frowning and seems always in a hurry to finish their task.

The food served was not as great as the once in Mcdonalds workshop-which my daughter recently joined-In jollibee-When they serve hamburger they won't include the fries and Jolly Hotdog with no cheese,No chicken joy served and they didn't serve food on Graduation Day. They just gave kids candies and lollipops-so be sure to bring extra money when you join so, you can buy some food for your kid. Although, I'm not satisfied with the service I got from them- I'll still give them 2 stars-Because My daughter said she also enjoyed the workshop because she met some friends there. After all we just paid 550 pesos-small amount to make my daughter smile. :)

Mcdonalds Summer workshop 2012

Mcdonald's Times Las Pinas branch is a small mcdonald's store beside University of Perpetual hospital. We decided to enrol our 5 year old daughter there because its near my hubby's office-Which means he can drop by during his break time to take pictures. Although the branch is quite small and  doesn't have a drive thru the kid's still had fun. Here are some of the pictures the we gathered on the mcdonald's 5 day workshop. We just missed to take pictures of some of the events -the activity when their dancing and the cheese burger making where they were taught  to make their own cheese burger sandwiches which they also ate during their break time.Feel free to browse to the pictures so, you'll have an idea of what's in store for your young ones during the workshop.
